About Me
Education & Achievements
I am a lifelong computer enthusiast, IT honors associate, and proud member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS), Alpha Sigma Lambda (ASL), and Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) honor societies. I worked hard to maintain a 4.0 GPA at Purdue Global, balancing coursework with founding and managing a 60+ member student club. My academic journey has been driven by curiosity and a desire to understand how technology shapes our world. After recently graduating in February 2026 with an Associate of Science in Information Technology, I am now planning to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Science beginning June 2026. My prior curriculum covered website development, database management, software engineering, ethical hacking, game design, networking, and cybersecurity. I am passionate about continuous learning and always seek new challenges to grow my skills.
Career Journey
My early career in food service and carpentry subcontracting showcased my ability to work well under pressure, engage with customers professionally, think critically, and provide a welcoming experience. These experiences taught me the value of teamwork, adaptability, and perseverance. After COVID-19, I had an epiphany to pivot and revive my old dreams in technology. A career programming software and games, working within cybersecurity operations, and engineering AI models sounded fun, engaging, and mind-boggling. I am excited by the prospect of solving real-world problems and making a positive impact through technology.
Curriculum Development
In January 2025, I landed a Federal Work Study role at Purdue Global coordinating non-profit IT outreach, which led me to the League of Amazing Programmers. Since August 2025, I have worked as a Software Curriculum Developer, designing interactive Python coding lessons via GitHub to prepare K-12 students for industry-level certifications. Mentoring young learners and helping them discover the excitement of coding has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey. I believe in the power of education to transform lives and am committed to making tech accessible to all.
Artistic Mindset
Creativity has always been my passion. You might find me creating artwork with Adobe Creative Suite (15+ years), writing music and playing guitar (18+ years), or performing independent computer research (OSI & TCP/IP, ethical hacking, neural networks) while constantly improving in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML3, CSS3 and SQL. I am an active team player in IGDA, DATA, and ACM, and love collaborating on open-source projects. Recently, I competed in the CCDC 2026 cybersecurity competition as a Linux Sysadmin, and assisted our team in placing 4th out of the entire Midwest! I also gathered a few fellow students and we have started working on an independent game development project. I plan to dedicate my degree gap to building our game, earning Coursera certifications, and honing my skills on Codecademy and Hack the Box.
Imminent Goals
In the future, I hope to pursue a career in the AAA gaming industry and share my ideas with the world, while building proficiency in ethical hacking to follow the matrix as far as it goes. I am eager to contribute to innovative projects, collaborate with passionate teams, and continue learning every day. I would love to explore how my willingness to learn, integrity, honesty, and general enthusiasm can benefit your team or organization.
